When my parents passed away, I inherited it all - a two floor building full of Antique and Vintage Treasures! This included everything from tiny thimbles to a collection of Vintage Cars - think Model T, Model A, etc. anywhere they could think of to gather vintage treasures. It is not included in the sale.Tin Lizzy Treasures is a Labour of Love! As far back as I can remember, my parents loved to visit garage sales, thrift stores, swap meets, flea markets, garbage dumps, etc. "Please Note: The pop/soda can shown in one of the photos is there to show the size of the item for sale. Similarly to other products made by makers like Pal-bel, Oppenhiem and Tamar, the Dayagi products were made of inexpensive materials, such as brass and copper and were thoughtfully designed for practical use and for home decoration to be suitable for everyone. This is a great item that represents one of the most innovative periods in Israeli Judaica design - a must-have for all collectors of Jewish Art."The Dayagi brothers workshop created affordable decorative and practical art during the austerity regime (the Tzena) in 1950s Israel.

The underside is stamped in rather worn down embossed letters but it is still legible as 'Dayagi Made in Israel'.

It was made by the Dayagi brothers I believe this to be from the 1950 to 1960 period - definitely a mid-century item. It has some verdigris (green) patina and it is decorated with a Harvest Scene. Up for sale from the Tin Lizzy Building, we have a vintage Dayagi Made in Israel Brass Menorah.
